THE FATHERHOOD PROGRAM
Our program now provides free counseling and parenting groups for fathers and their families in Galveston and Wharton Counties.
These group meetings center around important fatherhood topics, including positive discipline strategies, co-parenting, effective communication, and manhood.
Eligible participants must be a father or father-figure to a child between the ages of 0-17.
Fathering is not something perfect men do, but something that perfects the man.
COUNSELING
– Individual counseling, couples counseling, and/or family counseling are available to address a range of concerns, including but not limited to high stress levels, conflicts in relationships or families, overcoming personal obstacles, and mental health issues.
FATHERHOOD GROUPS
-Supportive, all-male environment
-Learn parenting skills and strategies
-Discuss fathering with other men in non-judgmental environment
-Dinner provided, plus other perks
