Deanna Ball, MS, LPC, LCDC

Deanna Ball, LPC, LCDC joined Family Service Center in the Spring of 2015 to work at the Juvenile Justice Center. Since that time, she has transitioned to providing counseling services at both FSC’s Dickinson and Galveston office locations and at community-based locations such as the Juvenile Justice Center and St. Vincent’s House in Galveston. She completed an Associates of Applied Science in General Studies, Cum Laude, at Alvin Community College. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, and from there she went on as a double major and completed a Master’s of Science in Professional Counseling and a Master’s of Science in Addiction Counseling at Grand Canyon University.  She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor with 12 years’ experience in addiction counseling and three years as a professional counselor. Ms. Ball’s therapeutic style is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  She works with teens, adults, couples, and families. She has advanced expertise with issues such as anger, grief, and addiction.
